installing solaris 10

hi,im new to solarisi have downloaded 5 iso files and recorded on cd.actuall already solaris 8 is existing now what should do i doto upgrade it to solaris 10.thanks

Boot to CD #1

Pay attention to whatever prompts are shown to you.

Select "upgrade" if you have any special data you want to preserve

and haven't archived off to a backup.

Select "install" if you don't care about whatever is there and want to

just install a fresh OS."Install" will wipe what's there and give you a new OS.

Learn by just doing it and gaining the experience.

If you happen to make mistakes, then learn from the mistakes.

If you happen to accomplish it without mistakes, remember whatever you did.

Write down notes of everything you do.Write your own book for yourself.
