Where do I get the MSM-IR (MegaRAID) software for X4100

Hello,

I'm following the document "X64 Servers Utilities Reference Manual" which

describes how to obtain and install the MSM-IR Utility for the integrated

MegaRAID controller on Linux.

According to the document, the software should be on a "Tools and Drivers"

CD. I have downloaded all the software (version 1.3) images for x4100

servers (non-M2) from Sun, and there is no "Tools and Drivers" CD for

x4100s. Moreover, there is no file:

MSM-IR_linux_installer-1.19.03.tar.gz

anywhere on any of the CD images that are available for download

(non-M2 X4100).

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Not everyone runs off at the mouth the way I do in these forums.

It's great to see that someone chooses to simply read and read and learn by reading some more,

... could that disk possible be among all the materials

that were packed with the X4100 when it was shipped to you ?

It's not on any of the 3 CDs that shipped with the product. And there is no "Tools and Drivers" CD among those 3 CDs either.Cheers,- Arash
