Can any one help me how fax message will add as a attachment to email.can any one plz help.by sending some sample example.RegardsSivaram

First, you need a modem to call Fax... Secondo, you need fax server like : http://www.hylafax.org/(Hylafax Server only on Unix/Linux server! )Hylafax client in java is easy (see exemple of code on site web)Attachment can be text, tiff, pdf or Postscript!

Hi Sivaram,

Have you tried efax services? It's much more easier (for me) coz fax messages can be receive through email as attachments. But there's a catch, it will cost you.

Right now I'm using Smartfax. Its a bit cheaper and its really a good deal for people who has small business, like me.

Sorry I didn't understand your question...My Fax modem receive and transform fax message in TIFF or PDF, so it's easy to attach file in email... Read specifications of your fax modem!
