This forum will be shut down in favor of the Java 3D forum on java.net
Some of you may not be aware that the primary forum for Java 3D is on java.net (and has been for several years). The Java 3D team at Sun does not read this Java 3D forum on java.sun.com.
Rather than continue to host two forums, one of which isn't actively being used by any of the Java 3D developers, we plan to shut down this java.sun.com forum in 2-3 weeks at which time you will be redirected to the java.net forum. We will make every effort to maintain a searchable archive, but no new postings will be allowed after that time.
We encourage any of you who want to participate in the Java 3D forum on java.net to join now -- you don't need to wait for this forum to close.
