Having trouble deciding what format to use for my application

Hello, I am a student and new to using the JMF,

please give me some pointers and directions to look for.

I am starting a project that requires a computer to transfer screen caps to several computers(say 8 computers) simultaneously.

The image will be 800*600, it must not be blurred

but the color can be crude 256 colors even, the frame

rate of 1 screen per second is sufficient.

The questions is what sort of protocol and format should I use for such application, as many of the formats only transfer small images(webcam) and blurred, and high color is not needed.
