Error Install Webserver7 on Solaris 10

dear all...

I try to install webserver7 on my Fujitsu PrimePower 450 running with solaris 10, but setup process always stop at:

Missing System Patches

Following system patches: [117461-04] needs to be updated.

here my Primepower 450 info:

# cat /etc/release

Solaris 10 3/05 s10_74L2a SPARC

# showrev -p | grep 117461-04

Patch: 117461-04 Obsoletes: Requires: Incompatibles: Packages: SUNWcsu, SUNWcsl, SUNWtoo, SUNWcslr, SUNWhea

I see that 117461-04 patch already replace by others and I install the last patch 118833-36...

but still I can't install webserver7 with same error above..

is there something that I miss?

it is unfortunate that you ran into this issue. this is a bug. we will be addressing this issue asap and our soon to be released 7.0U1 will have this fix. thanks for catching this issue.

as a temporary workaround, you might want to remove patch 117461-04 from your system. this should fix the problem

finally I can setup sjsws7 on my primepower 450 with solaris 10

first I remove patch 118833-36 and reboot

install 117461-08 patch and reboot

and then install 118833-36 patch again

then I can run sjsws7 setup until it finish :)
