samba install amd64 sol 5.10

i磛e got problems installing new samba version. I need to have samba as 64 bit binary as for so many open files in special cad applications. Version 3.0.21b which is included on the system cd磗 has an error while moving big files via unc from windows to samba (connection dies). Trying 3.0.24 (32bit) there is no such error but the one with "to many open files". I did already rise "max open files" and "ulimit -n" but without success. So I think best way is to get a 64bit version of 3.0.24 or is it easier to set rlim_fd_cur in /etc/system?

Which packages do i have to install to compile samba this way or is there a chance to get this without compiling?
