There's no supported way to disable that key sequence.

Does that cause problems? It should just terminate the X server, and therefore the login.

I'm getting lots of StarOffice having to recover documents & Mozilla problems such as losing config settings (proxy etc), not launching or asking for another profile to be created etc.

I have those same problems and my users ARE logging out properly. :-) Fortunately we don't need any special Mozilla settings, so I can just rm the .mozilla directory for the stuck users... StarOffice, well, I have yet to find a good way to disable that horrible "recover documents" bug (errrr, feature) :-)

Are those problems only occuring to the people that logout by killing x-windows?

I'm having a problem with Control Backspace: If the Numlock key is on and I press Control Backspace, it restarts the XServer. I have read a number of bug reports and that it will be fixed in Nevada 66.

Is there a workaround in the meantime. There is a "DontZap" option available in xorg.conf but I cannot find any [Xx]org.conf file on my system.

I did find a ".xorg.conf" but didn't find that option.

Thanks!

I thought that it was configurable from /etc/opt/SUNWut/utslaunch_defaults.properties, but i might be wrong.See: http://docs.sun.com/source/819-2384/user.html#56544 .7/M.
