I need to install patch 114344-25 on a Sun Sunfire V120.
On reading about the patch install it states other patches needed are
112233-12112912-01115683-02 (or greater)
I have 115683-03 installed on this sever.
Do I need the first two patches (112233-12 & 112912-01) as well?

My first reaction, is yes, you will need all dependant/requisite patches. However, you should read about each patch. I was once told to install a patch and found out it had dependant patches, which had dependant patches... I became dissatisfied with the original advice to install the first patch and talked to someone at Sun in a different support group who said there was a bundled patch that was needed, not the individual patch originally recommended.
You have to do your homework.
