Disk Partition recommendations

I am having to replace my harddrives after a major failure and would like to get some advice on a new layout.

Machine is a Sun Blade 2000 with 2 new 73gb 15k FC-AL drives. I will be installing Solaris 10.

I know Solaris 10 can use ZFS and Zones but I don't know enough to know how to set this up or if I should.

Other than that, what would be a good partition layout that would use BOTH disks. I can find information all day about doing this on a x86 box with dual boot info but nothing for a dual drive Sun box.

Currently there is u r root fs cannot be ZFS file system for sparc. Most of the information available for x86 should apply for sparc. Its not clear what you want to do. Do you want 2 different versions of Solaris on the box ? Do you want Solaris and Ubuntu ? Yes Ubuntu is available on Sparc though I have not tried it out.

One thing that you might want to consider for your root drive is to partition it with enough space so that you can use Live Upgrade.
