Solaris 10 slow performance...help

I am having a Solaris 10 box with 2G Ram. After the system is up for 20 days or so, the system gets very very slow. And doing "mdb -k" with "::memstat" give me the following,

> ::memstat

Page SummaryPagesMB %Tot

- - -

Kernel 251153 196297%

Anon 105480%

Exec and libs44430%

Page cache 4200%

Free (cachelist) 1989151%

Free (freelist) 4499352%

Total 259181 2024

Physical255335 1994

I am not very sure how to interprete the result. However, it seems to be telling me that the kernel is consuming all the memory. I at least want to confirm this part before I can decide what to do next. I am running,

5.10 Generic_118833-36 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80

Is this one of the later updates of Solaris 10? Are you running ZFS?-- Darren

Actually, there was no high cpu observed. The box originally runs mysql+apache but I stopped them both, and the output of memstat was taken after both had been stopped.

I think the kernel is of the latest version for sol10 on sparc platform. I don't run zfs.
