AMD Barcelona (quad core) in the M2s?

Will that work?The quad core chips will have the same pin count and are Socket F. Will the M2 servers support the quad core chips, when they come out?

Yes, the difference between the M2 and their predecessor systems are that the M2 is socket compatible with the AMD quad cores coming out in the summer. I'm assuming SUN will issue an upgrade kit with the quad core processor and firmware/BIOS updates.truly64a at 2007-7-12 2:33:44 >
