Sun Fire 280R, Blade 2000, and RSC card.

If I could install an RSC card in a SB 2000, would it think it is a SF 280R? They share the same systemboard.

Yes, that would occur.
Not only that, but the device paths to the two internal disks would get swapped.
That's another quirk. HDD0 becomes HDD1 and HDD1 becomes HDD0
Gotta love it, eh ?

Edit:
If the RSC card is removed, the device paths for the disks
will spontaneously revert back to their original desktop workstation designations.
( I'm referring to the associations between the OBP aliases `disk`, disk1`, etc, and the device paths to the actual drives. Without the RSC they're one way and with the RSC they're different. )
