DDSPE errors on Sun V210/V240 systems

Hello,

I am having quite some DDSPE errors (up to 50 per day) on several Sun

V210/240 systems running Solaris 9:

SUNW,UltraSPARC-IIIi: [ID 329692 kern.info] NOTICE: [AFT0] DDSPE Event on CPU0 in User mode at TL=0, errID 0x0006f281.edfa67d2

SUNW,UltraSPARC-IIIi: [ID 304053 kern.info] [AFT2] Parity errors found = 2

Replacing the main board/memory/CPU has not solved this issue.

Instead, the problem seems to be related to Check Point VPN-1 NGX.

Has anyone any comments on this error? I know it concerns correctable

parity errors in the CPU's data cache (DCache).

Would it be possible for software to introduce parity errors on the CPU's

DCache?

Regards,

-Frank

Have you experimented by stopping the Checkpoint software,

and watching to see if the log entries stop?

Have you opened a support case with CheckPoint?

Have you opened a support case with Sun?

(These forums are just user-to-user conversations, not techsupport.)
