just wondering

I got my program to run thanks to the help of you guys. I know that I ask some really stupid questions in here but I have one more.

I am not used to people giving away their time on something that they are not being compensated for. Is it that you

a) just enjoy answering questions about Java, that you

b) learn the code better by answering questions, or are you

c) being compensated in some way.

I personally come here because it helps me learn the language better. I can tell you that no one is being compensated in any way.

d) I regularly find the forum hilarious with its mix of clueless "give me the code" posters and the long-suffering regulars that respond to them.

But it does help to learn more about the language while I'm at it. And it's sometimes just a good feeling when I find myself able to answer the more coherent questions. :)
