Where should I begin?

I started using Java as course work in college but since graduating over 2 years ago I have not done any Java programming. The job I held the last 2 years required little or no programming so Java was off my radar. Now that I'm laid off I would like to start programming again and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions where I should start. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

Don't you know that irony doesn't work with kids and dogs? -:)

Anyway you'll have to be much more open about your situation to get help. In fact the more open and specific you are the more help you'll get.
