Plug-In Fatal Error

I keep getting the following message: Java Plug-In Fatal Error.

The java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded from <C:\PROGRA~1\JAVA\JRE16~1.0)0\BIN\CLIENT\JVM.DLL>

I am using Windows XP. Please tell me know to get around this. Nothing seems to be working. Tried the solution on Sun's FAQ, but it made no difference.

1. Are you a new java pgmr?

2. Did you just download and set up your first JDK/JRE?

3. If so, what did you download and from where?

4. How did you set it up?

5. What are you attempting to do?

6. Where did the error message appear?
