Designer Hangs

I have an appliccation which compiles and builds correctly. I am able to run it without any problem.

However if i Click the Design tab of class to open designer, it shows Loading on the pane and just locks up.

Nothing happens thereafter, i have to shut down the Sun Studio and restart it.

I don't want to throw away all the work that I have done. Will appreciate any help.
