mail relay

Hi,

We have two mail servers in our org. one is JES messaging server(corporate mail server), another one is exchange server(internal - for some applications to use).

Our situation is we would like to forward emails of one account from sql@myorg.com to sql@ex.myorg.com

Below is the error:

Your message cannot be delivered to the following recipients:

Recipient address: sql@ex.myorg.com

Original address: sql@myorg.com

Reason: Illegal host/domain name found

Hi,

You may want to try creating a new channel for the ex.myorg.com host (channel with daemon ex.myorg.com and the nomx keyword) and create a rewrite rule to send emails to that channel for ex.myorg.com domain.

I suspect your DOMAIN_UPLEVEL or similar setting is getting in the way - or you have defined the domain in your DC tree but it points nowhere/is broken.
