Command Line Help - Classpath
I'm trying to run an example out of a java book and I'm just no good with command line stuff.
I'm trying to connect to an example db2 database.
I always compile and run java stuff from the jdk bin directory (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin). I have a program that is telling me to include
c:\program files\IBM\sqllib\java\db2java.zipin my classpath.
The myriad of things I've tried to do aren't fixing my problem. Can somebody tell me how to do this, please?

Trying again... I'm confident somebody can help me out with this.
Have you tried including that file in your classpath perchance? I even have The Classpath Tutorial bookmarked cause so many people don't know how to Google for it.

WOW, Google. If only I had thought of that. If only I were smart enough to use Google before I even posted to this forum.
Perchance I did that, it didn't work, or I didn't understand it. Perchance, I was looking for useful comment, not some smartass comments from an *******.

And if only you were smart enough to explain your problem. So you tried a myriad of things. But you don't tell us what they were, so there's no point in trying to suggest something. Chances are you tried it already. So what can we do? Besides, as already pointed out, there are tutorials that explain it better.

Fancy that. More useless commentary. Thanks!

This is what I knew from your original post:
1) You had an error that said a file is not on your classpath.
2) You tried "things" to fix it.
Do tell what you expected me to say.
Maybe if you told us what you tried, and what that did, then you could get a specific answer. But if you're going to insult forum members and expect them to read your mind, I suggest you leave.
