Well, I guess I made it. Now using the wtk 2.5 I guess I could achive on that because the confirmation message is not appearing anymore. But now I have problems deploying the app to the cell phone because when I try to run it the cell phone shows a message that say that there is not such certificate on the cellpnone nor on the sim.
I think I must copy the certificate with the app, but the problem is: where is that file. I didnt crate it manually so there is not a cert file. from the wtk2.5 I can create csr but I dont know what is that. I tried google but there are many things from motorcycles definition to social stuff. SO I couldnt find that. I have some tutorials but I am not able to understand at 100% how this works. Please help.

doesn't work like that. you have to use a "real" certificate to sign your apps if you want them to be recognized by the phone. anyone can sign an app with a made up WTK certificate. what you need to do (I'm very familiar with this process) is get a real certificate from someone like Verisign who authors signing certificates.
why?
because phones have already have a few certifcates installed on them, and will only recognize apps signed with the pre-installed certs. This is why doing it yourself doesn't work, because the phone was not shipped with your certificate. (i'm simplifying things a little, but this is the basics of it. i dont want to get into everything right now)
so here's what you do, go to verisign(.com) buy a j2me application certificate (yes they're expensive) and then you can sign your application, and put it on an actual device to avoid the prompts for access.
There are still some cases where you cannot get rid of the prompt unless/until you use a carrier's certificate, like a cingular preferred partner certificate. but, good luck with that one ;)

Well, when I check the certificates list of my nokia 6131 I have 2 options.
1.- Phone certificates
2.- user certificates
on the phone certificates there are mane of them but on the user certificates there are no one. But if there is thi soption this means that there must be a way to put there some user certificates.
Anyway. I created again the jar and when deloyed on the phone is not showing the confirmation messages anymore. But I guess the certificate created on the wtk works only for a few time (3 months or something).
How much expensive and compatible are verisign signs?

Well, I guess that the enterprise can buy th certificate if its not too expensive, anyway I guess I can work witht he j2me certificate on the emulator. But now I am having a big problem.
WHen working with bluetooth I used to receive 3 messages.
1.- when starting the bluetooth server
2.- when starting the bluetooth client
3.- when comunicating between them.
Now with the wtk signing the 1 and 2 are not being showed but the third is still showing. Is there a way to avoid that prompting. Will it be fixed when using the verisign certificate?
The app I am developing must receive some data via bluetooth without the user knowing. I will use a bluetooth pencil to get some article requests and must receive that information on the device. without having to accept the comunication.

Hi,
Please keep writing about your latest position in this matter. I am stuck in to other problem but seems related with certificate only. I am making RSS reader for mobile phone . But the aplication tries to connect with internet using GPRS on mobile phone which is not allowing it to connect to GPRS. I guess the reason should be certificate only.
Question is, even after spending bucks, does it gurantee that it will work?
Please continue what happens to your case. Sorry as I dont know about this I cant help you if i get some info will let you know,

It may be due to the permission or may not.does it work from the emulator? the app is asking you for permission to connect? can you get any information about any possible exception?
# 9
Yes it works from emulator. But only in mobile phone its not working. Yes its asking for permission to connect and option to select gateway. error i frequently get is i/o related error and connection timeout
# 10
Hi, when the problem is for the certificates then it throws an exception related to the permissions. If you get timeouts may be for a hostname, ip problem or something.
The cell phone should ask you but if you press yes then everything should be okay.
on which phone are you testing?
