KLV metadata

I am totally new to JMF and I have not seen any class in the API that would allow me to parse KLV metadata from mpeg-2 transport files.

Is there any such functionality in any other software package compatible with JMF? Are there any plans to include KLV parsing in future versions of JMF?

I will also need to make the inverse process, i.e. insert KLV metadata into a trnasport stream that also contains a video track. Is it or will it be possible with JMF?
