Stopping the box?

How do you stop a box running LDom?Other than pull the plug?It just keeps rebooting?

Setting 'auto-boot?' to false in OBP or Solaris will stop it rebooting continuously - e.g.

# eeprom auto-boot?=false

You can always do a 'poweroff' on the SC if you so wish (rather than pulling the plug).

What version of LDoms are you running the (are you using the Early access bits by any chance ?)

which bit do you do this in? the domain controller or the domains?

more hassle - you got to login etc...

Regarding "eeprom auto-boot?=false", you should execute this command in any Solaris domain that you want to stop getting into a reboot loop.In your case it sounds like you want to stop the control domain (aka 'primary' - the domain in which the LDoms Manager daemon is running).

seems a bit naffyou lose the ability to just turn on and off the box by using ldomother than pulling the plugAny ideas why or is it just how ldoms are going to work?I get none of this trouble from vmware.
