Hardware sizing JCAPS

Does anyone have any tips for determining the size of hardware for a production JCAPS system?Perhaps, people could post here the specification of their system in terms of OS, CPU, RAM, HD, number of interfaces/eways and volume of messages.Rupert

hi rupert,

our specs:

500000 transactions a day

400 interfaces

4 CPUS itanium

32G Ram

system is on load steadily but has resources of doing double transactions if needed. most transactions are very small ~ 4-10 k. interfaces are always programmed in reource saving manner if possible. continuous load.

this is just integrator implementation no eInsight or else.

regards chris

We use a clustered environment of 300+ projects which process up to 10 million records a day depending on time of month. We have:

2 - Linux, 2 CPU, 8 GB RAM

3 - AIX, 4 CPU, 16GB RAM

In the process of adding more horsepower and failover support to the tune of:

4 - AIX, 2CPU, 16GB RAM
