libpam.so.1 crashes

H guys,I have Sun web server 6.1 and I am getting the following error when I try to start it:info (11150): CORE3262: Crash occurred in function from module /usr/lib/libpam.so.1I am trying with different user (even root) but no differences.Any clue?TIA

Which version (SP level) is this installation of web server?.We recommend to always be upgraded to the latest service pack. In this case SP7.

u can download the sp7 bits from here - http://www.sun.com/download/products.xml?id=45c90ca9

and run the installer. please remember to provide the same location where u have installed sp3 on u r machine.

installer should detect and automatically upgrade your installation without disturbing your configurations

Hi guys,just to let you know we found the issue that was causing this crash.Siebel (for an uncompatibility with their plugin) required a patch version higher than 109147-39.... so the -40!!All fixed now!cheers
