sigh I posted that link so that you would be able to read:

"If you reside outside of the United States, please contact your local training office.", and follow the link Sun Training Offices:

http://www.sun.com/training/world_training.html

and end up at the page:

I find it funny that many people who aren't able to read and click on links wants to become certified programmers.

For ur kind information ...

I had been tryin to reach out the responsible fellows in the various test centres at my place but all of them are even unaware about this .

I even copied the url for them , but still they say they are unaware .

And in the site it says , most of the countries come under this offer .

That is the reason i tried to get an answer from the forum , if anybody was able to get an answer to this .

I pity all those who preassume things .

But an answer from this forum wouldn't help since we aren't Sun employees. You need to call that office in India and make them call or mail the HQ.

We aren't mind readers. Why couldn't you say that you had been in contact with Sun in India? (Not that it would have changed anything, you would still have to contact them again and ask them to contact another Sun office.)

We will just get connected to call centeres who are not even aware about it .If you dont have an answer , i feel its better not to respond rather than bugging others without knowing what is the actual fact.

For the work to be done in an efficent manner , it needs to be outsourced.

Getting all the benifits of outsourcing and enjoying it after that bugging others who do the job. Thats the culture of u guys .

Are you kidding me? Things are not outsourced for that reason. Things are outsourced in order to reduce costs. Projects that are outsourced are seldom more efficient.

I have never had to deal with code that had been outsourced but I have many friends who have rewritten the c-r-a-p delivered by outsourced projects.

I have spoken to many developers who have been involved in projects that had outsourced parts of the system, but I have never met a single developer that was satisfied with the results of the outsourcing.

But go ahead, call your highly efficient call center that can't answer your question.

Did you outsource your typing ? It seems you may want to speak to your quality assurance department as they are letting a lot of obvious mistakes through.

And by the way please don't outsource the looking up of the definition of the word hypocrite.

Right, and your experience shows just how efficient it is?

Do remember that it's all outsourced TO India, which just shows how good Indians are at doing customer support...

Nope. It's Indian culture apparently to steal our jobs and then go around complaining that we don't do those jobs anymore (but now for free, by instantly complying with every request to make something for some kid who got a job to do he doesn't understand).

Not only India. China and a lot of former Eastern European countries are being "used" to outsource work.

Com on jwenting, take it easy. No Indians (or others from countries where wages are far less than in "Western" countries) are stealing jobs. It is not them who decide to outsource work: management decides to do so.

I am disappointed with the maturity of the people in the forum who responded to the original question without having any useful information to share ...

This has been the problem with Americans - just to get unnecessary visibility you do too much of talking without any content in it. Your mode of working has been like: "if do not know to work, try to make issue out of others work" ... My experience in one of the white horse company in US is really frustrating - they don't even try to do a smallest of the small work without making enough politics and issues ...

I am disappointed when someone unfamiliar with this forum just reads one post and makes all kind of assumptions.

Ah I see, you're just a plain old racist.

FYI: the majority of the people who responded to the OP in this thread are not even Americans, you silly bastard.

This is the problem with people who do not like Americans - they're usually no better, and often far worse.

If you don't like Americans, why are you still working in America?
