Solaris Administration Books?

Hello All,

Can anybody recommend some good, fairly current Solaris administration books (besides SunDocs)?

Two that I'm considering are Solaris OE Boot Camp and Solaris Solutions for System Administrators. Any comments on these would be appreciated.

Lastly, it seems there is a lack of variety for Solaris 10+ books. Does anybody know of anything planned by Sun or other vendors, or should I get one of the above choices and supplement it with SunDocs?

Thanks for the help.

People recommend docs.sun.com and sun.com/blueprints because everything you can find in a book you buy in a bookstore, you'll find in docs.sun.com and/or sun.com/blueprints, and there isn't a single book out there that even comes close to containing the information you can find in those (although Blueprints are actually exerpts from books).

The big difference between docs.sun.com and books you buy in the bookstore is how things are explained in a book. So, if you are looking for content, no book is going to come close to docs.sun.com. If you are looking for more detailed explanations, any book will do, I think. If you want a book on a specific subject (jumpstart, clustering, etc) I would go with Blueprint books.

There is a very good book from a woman with last name Stocker - I believe it has Solaris Tips/Tricks in title - it is very good.
