Hi,
I'm having a problem with a couple of workstations, whereby the resident
agent loses contact with the SunMC server. The log files under /var/opt/SUNWsymon/log
aren't much help. Is there anyway of increasing the verbosity of the data
collected in these logs?

Look at the "es-config -c" options to turn on more logging channels:

(or just run "/opt/SUNWsymon/sbin/es-config -h" on any Server or Agent to see usage options).
