display out of frequency

just installed solaris 10. I believe it's supposed to boot into the desktop invironment, however when it does, my monitor shuts off and displays the message "out of frequency" if this were a linux system i could edit the x11 settings. however this is obviously not linux, and i have no idea where the file is to change the resolution settings.

any help? thanks.

Hi.*If you can't login into your machine, use ssh.If you use xsun X-Windows server run kdmconfig and if you are using Xorg (recommended) run /usr/X11/bin/xorgconfig.You can select there your monitor type and resolution.
