Solaris10 on HP Compaq nc8230 - CPU FAN is not working!!!

Hi all,

I just installed sol10 11.06 on my nc8230.

The only problem is that the CPU fan is not working at all.

it can be enabled from the BIOS to run always only with external power switched on, but even then it works on slow RPMs and the laptop overheats.

Does anyone have idea about it?
