Application installation issue in Solaris

Hi All,

I am trying install the application in Solaris 5.10. But after installation started i am getting following error.

/tmp/install.dir.1812/Solaris/resource/jre/bin/java: cannot execute

Machine hardware:i86pc

OS version: 5.10

Processor type:i386

Hardware:i86pc

Can any one tell how to resolve this probelm?

i am trying to install the java application which is created using Install anywhere software.

It sounds to me like InstallAnywhere is not setting the unix permissions

correctly on the file mentioned. I don't think you will be able to fix

this manually, as presumably InstallAnywhere is creating (unzipping)

that file and then _immediately_ trying to run it without the correct

permissions, so there is no opportunity for you to intervene before

it fails.

If you have't already done so, I'd try to find an InstallAnywhere support

forum. Sorry!
