I'll bite ...What chipset does an iPod have? Do Sun produce an install for that chipset? You may find yourself a little keyboard-challenged.

Check the Sun Hardware Compatibility guide at: http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/ .7/M.

Or do you want to boot a PC from your IPod and use it as a USB memory? .7/M.

A couple of weeks ago someone posted at blogs.sun.comthat they'd run live upgrade from their ipod, and it'dworked.Live upgrade lets you install a new version of the OSin parallel with the currently running one, so yes, it works.
