you can connect to a PC 9 pin serial port via a Cisco rollover cable. Should find listed on auction sites. The Part No. is 73-3383-01

The specs are available in the server documentation so you can easily roll your own cable in a few minutes if you've got a spare DB-9, RJ45, and a spare length of 4-pair cable laying around.

... and every V240 ships with an adapter kit stuffed into its packing materials:

(look at the very bottom of this web link)

http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/SunFireV240/components.html#explod ed_view

Yours is either thrown into a desk drawer, somewhere,

or was confiscated by whoever originally set up the system.

If you have service contract coverage on the system, Sun will replace the parts in the kit.

If there isn't any service contract coverage, you'll need to roll your own adapters.

The parts are not available separately, nor is the kit sold by Sun separately.
