Most websites that offer multimedia features using Java

would probably be using some commercial Java library for it

(rather than default libraries from Sun).

So it's an external library problem, most likely.

So please give an example of a website that worked when you had Java5,

but now fails when you upgraded to Java6.

Well i installed java 6u1 on 4 diferent computers and the streaming javacam's only show a static image and no motion or frames..There is seriously a bug with this version of java and it would be nice if sun would look into this !

First of all, Sun's JDK most likely does not have a "motion" problem,

whatever that means.

Instead, there are many minor incompatibilities between Java 1.5 and Java 1.6.

And that website may have hit one of them.

Second: Sun doesn't scan the web and check millions of websites.

If you don't report a problem, they won't know.

So please go to Sun's bug page, and let them know.
