Community wiki

Hi,

I am new to Sun Java System Portal Server, and I am trying to configure 7.1 to find out how it could be used as a tool for internal workgroups and projects.

I would like each community to have their own wiki, but so far all my communties (also those owned by different users) have access to the same wiki content.

I have searched the documentation but I can't find any information about how to make the content in a wiki local to just one community.

Is it possible to do what I want, and does anyone have a tutorial or a link to some more information?

Thanks in advance,

Cato

Hi,

We have a new release (7.1u1) which is expected in a month or so . This has some cool community features like private Comunities(wiki), Interwiki linking etc. Hopefully 7.1u1 should solve your problem

Also watch this space for some tutorial/pointers. I'll post it soon

Thanks,

Rajesh

Once you have portal 7.1u1 release , you can either create a Wiki Community from DeveloperSample (or) from CommunitySample

- Login to portal desktop

- Click on MyCommunities tab and create two public Communities

"Wiki1" and "Wiki2"

- These two communities will have their own set of wiki pages represented as

[Wiki1:PageName]

[Wiki2:PageName]

Each Wiki community created gets its own wiki pages . You can also give access privilleges to these wiki communities
