Problem opening project, JSE 8.1

Hello

I just reinstalled the OS and subsequently JSE 8.1. When I try to open my project it appears JSE cannot. When I navigate to the folder which contains my project folder, the project folders show as valid project folder, that is they have a small icon in their corner. But whan i select the folder, this icon dissapears, and choosing it will only open the folder, not open the project. Can someone explain and help me with this, please?

Much regards

Fluid

- Were any extra modules/updates installed when the projects were originally created, that are possibly missing in the current installation?

- Are there any relevant error messages and/or stacktraces in the <userdir>/var/log/messages.log file?

- There could be a chance that the userdir may have been corrupted, though it seems unlikely since you have reinstalled the OS itself. But still, can you try running the ide with a fresh userdir and see if that makes a difference?

Hello, and thank you for answering. For some reason, today I can load my projects normally... I was doing the reinstall over night yeasterday, and maybe I just was too tired? I suspect I was trying to open the project as Administrator rather than the user of the project; maybe it has something to do with it. Anyway, at the moment it works, and I thank you for your time.

PS: I like your blog. Especially if you write more useful articles on it : ) I'll keep an eye out for it.
