Bluetooth connection

I would like to ask whether linux or Microsoft Windows platform is recommended for Bluetooth technology? What are their pros and cons?

Also, if I want to build a Bluetooth connection between mobile phone (J2ME) and PC (J2SE), it is possible to have two or more mobile phones connecting to the PC at the same time using BlueCove?
