Solaris 8 install

I have a Solaris 8 install that I can't get to work. I have a Sollaris 8 flash archive that I made from a fully patched Solaris 8 server. Hardware is 280R with 4 GB RAM. I go through the normal install steps. After the networking, I'm prompted for what kind of install. I select the flash option. I then choose NFS for the flash archive location. I enter either IP or hostname, and it returns an error saying it can't locate the flash archive. I know that NFS is ok, as I've been able to drop to a CLI and manually mount the NFS drive. Also, when sniffing the network, it looks like the Solaris box isn't trying to mount the NFS directory where the flash archive lives.
