Java Composite Application Platform Suite -- General Discussion - Require information about LDAP

Hi,

I am using JCAPS 5.1.1.

I attempted to add an entry to LDAP server[SUN ONE 5.2] from JCAPS,

but I got error message as "Insufficient 'add' privilege to add the entry".

Hence i decided to set Authentication in LDAP eway. I changed

authentication to simple.Default value for authentication is NONE.

Then I gave input for principal under connection as

cn=Directory Administrators dc=aaa,dc=company,dc=com

But i got error message as No such object Exception.

Please provide me some information how to set LDAP connection prinicpal in JCAPS.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes it is working. In ldap eway it has been mentioned as Administrator

with domain name. Hence i tried by giving Directory Administrators

along with domain name.

I gave only dc=Directory Manager not along with domain name(dc)
