How to Reset ALOM Password

I have "inherited" some Sunfire V210 and Netra 105 servers without much documentation. 2 of them (a V210 and a Netra 105) do not reboot after I have applied the DST patches. I got the connection to ALOM going, but do not know the password for the admin or any other user. Is there a way to reset that password without being logged in?

I believe there is a jumper on the V210 that will reset the ALOM - you'll have to look up the hardware jumper in the field handbook. I've never done this though.

I don't recall the Netra T1-105 requiring a LOM password, if that is the hardware you are talking about.

You need to go into the systems you DO have root for and reset the passwords with scadm right away!
