Smartcards and SunRay.

Right now, whenever I pull my smartcard out and reinsert it, I have to enter my password. While that's a fine default behaviour, I'm doing a lot of swapping cards to test multi-user software as the different users. I'm rapidly growing weary of hitting the spacebar, waiting 10 seconds for the password screen to show up (it sure is SLOOOOW for such a simple screen!), and then typing the password!

I know it's possible to disable the need for the password, on a per card basis. Unfortunately, I don't know *how* to do it... I've read the SunRay manuals front to back, as well as the Smartcard manual. Unfortunately, most of the smartcard stuff seems to be disabled while used for SunRays. I'm afraid to randomly turn stuff on and take the chance of breaking the whole system

Anyone know the right way to do this?

I don't actually know the right way, but I know a workaround is to replace utxlock with a blank file. utxlock is run whenever the smart card is removed to invoke the screensaver lock. The script is located in /opt/SUNWut/bin. Of course backup the old version before overwriting it (I'm fairly certain a blank file will work fine as a replacement).
