Ada compilers for Solaris?

Hello,

I recently started using Solaris and one thing I am missing is a good Ada compiler. I used GNAT under Linux, and I am having some difficulty in finding a version for Solaris.

I tried to bootstrap GCC, but the Ada compiler is written in Ada, so I am in an odd position.

If anyone knows of an Ada compiler for Solaris that is compatible with x86/x64 and is preferably free, I would be very grateful.

Thanks!

I cross-compiled GCC from Linux to AIX. It was a bear to get it done and took a lot of time (several weekends as I recall). There are also repositories around where you might find a binary version of the compiler. Try looking on SourceForge.Net for the gnuada project... Hmm, it looks like they (we) only have sparc compilers there.
