Unable to install Solaris 10

Hi,

Recently I have purchased a new PC with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and Intel 965SS motherboard and a SATA Drive

I am unable to install Solaris 10 on this machine.

I tried both Solaris 10 32 bit and 64 bit.

When I tried to install Solaris 10 32 bit on the VmWare software, it almost completes the first CD and after that it keeps booting continously and will not proceed further.

Would appreciate I someone could provide a resolution to it.

did u run u either Sun Device Detection / Installation Check Tool to figure out Hardware Compatibility before the installation ? If not then the links are:

And did u partitioned the HD etc...can u describe what problems u are running into?
