Ultra 5 SAMP installation

Hi,I've got a spare ultra 5 lying around and i need someone to walk me through a SAMP installation. Is the hardware too old for Solaris 10? I'm hesitant to put linux on it as i want to try and get into solaris.Thanks

If you are not going to use the beast for x-windows any configuration on the ultra 5 should work. I have been running mysql on old sparcs and it runs well and very reliably but comparing it to mysql on a brand new ultra20m2 or even my old blade1000 makes the poor little ultra 5s weep. If you just want to play then the ultra 5 should be fine.
