V440 & Linux

Does the V440 run/ support Linux?If so, which versions of linux are compatible? Just redhat and suse or do others work as well?Any information and details would be greatly appreciated.thank you

I would recommend to review documentation regarding supported platforms on the websites of the various Linux distributions (Gentoo, Debian, Ubuntu, etc.).

RedHat dropped SPARC support after version 6.2. Suse dropped SPARC support after version 7.3. The version number indicates that this was many years ago.
Aurora Linux (that's SPARC) is based on RedHat http://auroralinux.org/ .
