Qube 3 update and restore Q's

I own a "Sun Cobalt Qube 3. Pro Plus" Or at least thats what the sticker says lol. Awhile ago I did a OS restore and everything worked great! My brother now would like me to set it up so that he can use it for his businesses website. So I did a OS wipe/restore and now it seems different, almost as though it didn't finish the installation process? For example, the tabs across the top of the web interface (Administration, Programs, Personal Profiles), some work, some don't. All of the sub categories of the administration tab will bring up a blank screen in the main viewing area. I know for a fact that this isn't normal. So my next train of thought was to update it, maybe that will fix it.....BluelinQ is missing, so, I can't update. At this point I'm thinking I got a wrong ISO version for my qube? My question is, does anyone know where a reputable link is that I can download the correct ISO and redo the system with, or does anyone know how and if the autoupdate feature that you can access via the LCD screen works? If so what ip address do I put in to access updates? Will the autoupdate fix the type of problem I have?

FYI, the ISO OS restore cd I used was one that I did recently make, I lost the cd I made awhile back when it was running right :(

Any help would be great.

I don't think I would put any effort into that box... no support, no nothing...(Quick answer Sun no longer hosts any forums for Cobalt products. None.)hk

Hello,

this is the link to a previous thread that I'm posting as a response to questions regarding Cobalt systems

http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5116977

Due to the fact that there has never been a followup post, it's pretty clear that none of the contributors or attendees is able (or willing) to offer support/advice. Maybe someone can offer paid support.

The user-to-user Cobalt Forum (WEB Appliance) has been removed years ago (during forums maintainance).

Michael
