280R Disk Replacement

I have failed drive in a 280R that is part of a mirror. The drive that failed is the bottom slot ( 0 drive ). Can I simply replace the drive and run metareplace or do I have to run luxadm first?Thanks

It`s strongly recommended to run luxadm first.

Try these steps:

1. luxadm remove <device>

2. remove the disk fisically

3. devfsadm -c disk (or drvconfig;disks)

4. insert the new disk

5. You can try luxadm insert <device> or directly "devfsadm -c disk"

6. Now run metareplace.
