SunFire V100 / Solaris 10 LOM Trouble

I'm trying to reset the LOM module on a SunFire V100 running Solaris 10. I can use JP13 to temporarily get into LOM, but when I attempt to delete the previously established user accounts the LOM prompt hangs. I am unable to create a new user because there are already 4 users configured. After I leave the server for a night, the LOM password re-establishes itself. Is there a conf file in Solaris I can edit directly, or is there a better way to go about this?

Have you installed the LOM software?

I had not, no. I was running a default installation of Solaris. When I went to follow your instructions, I had to restart the LOM again, and it defaulted to netboot. When I attempted to break to an OK prompt in order to boot from IDE, my terminal just displayed the failed netboot output. Any ideas?

Set the jumpers back to normal. Boot into the OS and install the LOM software package. In the LOM configuration file (I believe it is somewhere in /kernel/drv) disable the serial security option. You probably need to reboot for the driver to load the option. This will not reset the LOM, but it will not prompt for a user or password.

If you can't boot into an OS, I'm not sure if there's much that you can do. Sorry.

Hope this helps.
