Don't refer me to the library

In real American-English, what is the definition of a method. Show me a real example. I really want to understand. Show me something tangible. I am not stupid, but sometimes I look for complex problems when they are just ordinary and simple.

If you want to know the definition of something, you use a dictionary. That's your first recourse. If you don't understand or disagree with what the dictionary says, then post your questions and comments here.

Starting off with "Don't refer me to the library" is not the way to get help or start a discussion.

So what in the name of Gosling is your objection to looking here?
