General questions on N1 OS Provisioning

I have spent several hours reading the docs on N1 OS provisioning but I still don't have a clear understanding of the whole system and how it all works. I have three basic questions I'd like to get answered before I get started installing the software.

1) In order to do basic OS provisioning, do I need a master server and a completely separate OS Provisioning server? Or can the two functions be combined on the same physical server?

2) If all our new servers have their "net mgt" or sc interfaces configured with static IPs, can this be used to provision the target? I'm trying to get away from having to open DHCP up to all the various networks we will be supporting.

3) If we have to have a separate OS Provisioning Server, will a Sun Blade 1000 work?

By the way... I already know that page 32 of the installation guide provides hardware requirements but they are very generic. Acording to these hardware reqs a Blade 1000 with dual 750 MHz procs and 1 Gb of RAM will work. HOWEVER, just because the docs say it will work doesn't mean it will work well.

It can either be 2 separate server or much easier is to combine this on 1 server

DHCP is only available to each specific host with specific IP address, based on MAC address. You cannot provision OS via the SC or LOM/ALOM since they are controls to the box, and not to a running OS.

Yes
